Our projects
Our team has pioneered the use of hybrid micro–macro SEEG electrodes since 2015, initially employing distal tetrodes to access medial structures such as the hippocampus, amygdala, insula, and cingulate cortex, and more recently developing proximal tetrodes for neocortical implantation. To date, we have successfully implanted over 377 tetrodes, establishing unique expertise and an unparalleled worldwide dataset of simultaneous single-unit and LFP recordings.
A unique dataset of approximately 2,000 single units from 78 patients is already available, encompassing multiple cortical and subcortical regions across wakefulness, sleep, and task performance.
