Our team has pioneered the use of hybrid micro–macro SEEG electrodes since 2015, initially employing mnesial tetrodes to access medial structures such as the hippocampus, amygdala, insula, and cingulate cortex. More recently, we strated using newly developed proximal tetrodes for neocortical implantation. To date, we have successfully implanted over 383 tetrodes, establishing unique expertise and an unparalleled worldwide dataset of simultaneous single-unit and LFP recordings.

A unique dataset of approximately 2,600 single units from 87 patients is already available, encompassing multiple cortical and subcortical regions across wakefulness, sleep, electrical brain stimulations and task performance.
